Christ Above All Else, Hebrews 7:11-28

We left off with the Hebrew writer telling us that Melchizedek’s priesthood was superior to the tribe of Levi’s, and likewise so is Jesus Priesthood superior to Aaron’s. Now for a Jewish person to hear that a gentile like Melchizedek position with God is better than their position was unthinkable and offensive, and yet that is exactly what is being said here in Hebrews, but he has more to say on the subject.
