Our series on Hebrews is based upon Jesus being superior over everyone and everything, from Abraham, Moses, Aaron, the Angels, to the animal sacrifices, and the blood sacrifices, Christ and His sacrifice is superior in every way. This is what the writer is conveying to both the Hebrew and Gentile believers who may struggle with being told that to please God they must also adhere to the Old Testament Law.
