CARE AND CONCERN MINISTRY
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction,
so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God"
The Care and Concern Ministry of Calvary Chapel Breath of Life exists to meet the felt needs of our church congregants during times of difficulty or burden.
We meet those needs when there has been:
The death of a close loved one.
The increased physical and emotional needs for families due to major life changes (adoption, births, deaths, illnesses).
There are prayer support and visitation needs for caregivers and a congregant is suffering from prolonged illness or has had major surgery.
We meet these needs in various ways, including but not limited to, home and hospital visits, cards, phone calls, prayer support, and meals.
In doing so, we are an extension of God's love to His body in keeping with Scripture.
Romans 12: 10-13
Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
And let our [people] also learn to maintain good works, to [meet] urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.
