God The Righteous Judge Amos 6:1-14

At the end of chapter 5 we see that judgment is coming soon upon the children of Israel, and despite their abundance of wealth, prosperity, and peace with the surrounding nations, all is not well between them and The Lord. Israel like so many today is giving off the appearance that they are serving The Lord, but in reality it’s just a charade, for in their offerings, sacrifices, and feast days, it was wrapped up in ritual and not righteousness, more like pretend worship rather than true worship.
