God The Righteous Judge, Amos 1:1-15

The book of Amos is an interesting narrative for unlike many other prophets Amos was not a man whose life was devoted to hearing and speaking The Word of The Lord. He wasn’t a product of the schools of prophets or a professional seer, but a regular guy doing ordinary things before God called him to preach an extraordinary message of the judgment to come. Which is why this story should speak to all of us as there isn’t anything special about us, but God wants to use us to display His glory
