Ezra and the people are now in Jerusalem having made the long, hard, four
month, nine-hundred-mile trek through the desert, carrying a king’s ransom in
silver, gold, and temple artifacts, and yet not losing even a single coin on the
way. Now for the first time in 140-150 yrs their free to worship The Lord in
accordance to His Laws and commands, having seen God honor the words Ezra
spoke to King Artaxerxes.
