The Book of Jonah is one of those books of the Bible that is constantly under assault by the so called scholars and critics who cannot believe that Christians could accept any story of a man being swallowed by a fish and live to tell about it. But we aren’t expected to believe in the Bible because it makes sense to us, we are simply asked to believe its message because we trust in its author The Lord our God.
