Last week we saw an example of what happens when you attach yourself to people who don’t honor The Lord therefore cannot have your best interest at heart. Amnon David’s eldest son learned that the hard way as his cousin Jonadab encouraged him to disobey God’s Word, his father, and everything he knew was right to try and satisfy the lust of his flesh, and it led to rape, murder, and estrangement, as not only did Amnon lose his right to rule Israel but he also lost his life getting killed by his brother.
