Have a Happy Thanksgiving From CCBL! Psalm 136 "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His Love endures forever!"

Weekly Announcements

Prayer Challenge:
The CCBL leadership invites you to join in seeking the Lord for revival through a 12-day Prayer Challenge. Each day an email will be sent with a challenge to pray for a specific area for revival and to trust God’s promises. Please ask about other options if you don’t have email. You can choose the day to begin during the week of November 24 and we will end with a special time of prayer, celebration, and looking to future on Sunday, December 8. Please visit ccbreathoflife.org to sign up or see Pastor John Wooden for more information.

Resource Ministry:
The resources for the month of November highlights:
John Piper- Lessons from a hospital bed
Nancy Lee DeMoss Wolgemoth- Choosing Gratitude
Gospel Coalition- 4 reasons we can be thankful in times of trouble:

Angel Tree:
You can still stop by the Angel Tree table for a gift tag to buy a gift for a child. We partner with Prison Fellowship and the gift is given in the name of the parent who is incarcerated. It is not just about the tangible gift but the Gospel is also shared with these families, so please pray for changed lives. Gifts are due by Sunday, December 8, 2019. Donations, support wrapping and giving the gifts is also needed. Please stop by the table or see Pam Hairston for further details.

Operation Christmas Child:
On behalf of Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child, and your Project Leader, we thank God once again for His provision and for all of CCBL support for another successful year of contributions. We were able to provide OCC with 55 shoe boxes to help spread the Gospel around the world. We celebrate all God has done and will do because you invested your time, resources, and treasures in planning, preparing, collecting, and sending shoe box gifts. We cannot make such an impact for God’s kingdom without your generosity, labor of love, sacrifice, and faithfulness.
The opportunity to serve at one of Operation Christmas Child’s Processing Center will take place on Saturday December 14 from
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The processing center allows you to serve a little deeper by seeing those packed shoe boxes up close and personal. At the processing center we open those shoe boxes and make sure that each box is properly packed before being shipped around the world. The minimum age to serve is 13 years of age. If you would like to serve, please sign up at the OCC table in the back or see
Crystal Williams for further details.
